Ten Pin Bowling, but with a difference...

Ten Pin Bowling in your wedding dress - might sound bizarre but that is the sort of thing that makes the photography of Ross Matthews stand out and is what the Post Wedding Shoot is all about.

The first image is the one that we were after to create a striking and eye catching image for the bride, the second shot is just for fun as given the chance who wouldn't lie down in the middle of a bowling lane and have a bride throw a bowling ball at them?

Do something different in your dress - give us a call or email to find out more about the Post Wedding Shoot.

Post Wedding Shoot @ Sharpitor on Dartmoor

It takes a brave bride to stand on a big rock in the middle of Dartmoor in a bracing (to say the least) March wind with nothing on but a wedding dress.

When it comes to a Post Wedding Shoot it can be as adventurous or as simple as you want, we personally quite like the more adventurous sorts of shoots and we have a number coming soon involving fire and a large amount of water so we can really Trash the Dress!

Whether its the artistic, the simple, the adventurous or the dangerous - if you are willing to get back in the dress then get in contact with us.

Out To Sea - Again... Post Wedding Shoots & Trashing The Dress

These images captured that sunrise at Bigbury have become iconic with Dartmoor Studios having now been published 3 times so far this year alone & nominated for a number of awards.

Ross Matthews was one of the first to truly embrace how creative the Trash The Dress & Post Wedding Shoot could be & images like those above are now being recognised all over the country.

With a number more shoots booked in the next few months there will be even more images like this coming soon - if this is the sort of photo shoot you would like then please get in touch but do not leave it too long as the waiting list is growing...

To see more of Ross's TTD & PWS work from the last 6 months please go to www.dartmoorstudios.com & select the Post Wedding Shoots from the Wedding Photography. site.

Urban Post Wedding Shoot on the Old Streets of Plymouth

While the rest of the country is covered in snow it was beautiful & sunny down here in Plymouth, so we got out in the street.

A Post Wedding Shoot does not need a specifically glamorous or extreme location, even though we do like to do those, it can take place in a simple urban location.

Mix one bride in a stunning Maggie Sottero dress, a creative photographer & old cobbled street - you have an interesting & unique version of this popular wedding option.

For more details on booking your Post Wedding Shoot please call 0800 6126 407 or email us.

Please bear in mind that you will need to be thinking a few months in advance as we are now fully booked on these shoots until at least April 2009.

If you go down to the woods today...

Little did people out walking their dogs expect to come across a bride with a chain saw a few saturdays ago...

Kerenza decided she wanted to do something a little more adventurous that the norm so we came up with the idea of going in to the woods with a chain saw for some photos - well it's called Extreme.

After some basic training she was let loose while Ross captured the photos & Edwin did the video/behind the scenes images. Check out the photos on the main site & the movie below:

Extreme Wedding Photography - Behind The Scenes...

Ever wondered how we get 'that' shot?

Well over the past few months Edwin Sudds has been following Ross Matthews to capture some behind the scenes photos from the Post Wedding or aka 'Trash The Dress' photo shoots.

A variety of these images can now be seen on the main website @ Behind The Scenes as well as some video footage that is shown below.

We have many more even more exciting & some extreme shoots coming up later this year so keep an eye on the Blog to find out more...
