Most of us like to give something back to the community and where we can, we certainly like to help with a charity shoot or event, however recently I was asked to train a group of scouts to a level of photography that they would be able to gain their Photographer Badge. That would be a challenge I thought, but would be fun to put on the Blog.Having read the scope of learning the Scout Masters were certainly not giving the badge away and I set to work on a presentation to deliver the basic controls, types of cameras, composition etc. all the way up to controlling depth of field and creative shutter speeds... was quite a night!
The boys did fantastically well to take in all the info and I look forward to seeing the results of their project work when I go back to assess it in a couple of weeks time. Anyway good luck with the images lads.
